Information stored on your device
The scenarios you save — purchase prices, rent, rates, and the tax assumptions you enter — are written to a file inside the app's private storage on your device. This data:
- never leaves your device;
- is not accessible to us or to any third party;
- is included in your device backups if you have iCloud Backup or encrypted local backups enabled, under Apple's terms rather than ours;
- is permanently deleted when you delete the app.
What the app does not do
- No user accounts, sign-in, or profiles.
- No analytics, tracking, advertising, or third-party SDKs.
- No network requests. The app functions entirely offline; the only links that leave the app open this website or your mail app, at your request.
- No access to contacts, location, photos, health data, or your device identifiers.
Information Apple collects
If you install the app through the App Store or TestFlight, Apple may collect information about downloads, purchases, and crashes under Apple's privacy policy. If you have opted in to sharing crash and usage data with developers, we may receive aggregated crash reports from Apple. These come from Apple, not from the app, and contain no financial figures you entered.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no information from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Regulations such as the GDPR and CCPA grant rights to access, correct, and delete personal data held about you. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to retrieve or erase. The data on your device is under your control and is removed with the app.
